Brian P. Tanguay, Certified Watchmaker, Jeweler, Owner.
Brian started his business in 1976, after graduating from the Joseph Bulova School of Watchmaking in New York. First located in his parents house as a repair shop for many jewelers in central Massachusetts. In 1980 Brian took over his grandfathers repair shop in Fitchburg MA (John P. Murphy). Renaming the store Murphy Jewelers. The business grew into a full service and sales store, quickly out growing its location (41 Elm St.) The store moved to Oliver Street just around the corner. By 1985 Brian moved his watch repair department to Gardner Ma. Naming it Tanguay Jewelers. Within 3 years Tanguay Jewelers grew to match the Fitchburg shop. Brian's Brother David bought Murphy Jewelers in 1988. Tanguay Jewelers now has a complete line of quality jewelry, with a full service repair shop to satisfy all your requests.
